Medical Bill Assistance

Do you have past due medical bills? Let our team of trained specialists help you find savings. There are many programs and non profits that might be able to help you alleviate these bills.

As a United Medical Solutions member you are entitled to take advantage of our Patient Financial Liaison and Advocacy Plan. This service is not a discount program and no guarantee of its success is made. Once you or a member of your household (a dependent living under the same roof) incurs at least $1000 of total combined charges for a particular condition, disease, or accident for which you are having difficulty paying, call 1-888-910-5996.

Upon review of the information and an interview with you, the Patient Financial Advocacy Liaison (PAL) will prepare a plan of action and discuss it with you. If you agree, they will contact the provider or providers on your behalf and make every effort to reach a financial solution acceptable to you and the provider(s). These actions can and may include, reducing charges, applying for payment plan eligibility, accessing public and/or private programs and may even include forgiveness of certain charges. Each situation is different and the solution to each is tailored to accommodate the needs of the patient, his or her family and their particular financial situation.

One in four Americans aged 65+ falls each year according to the National Council on Aging. Falls are the leading cause of fatal injury among older results and lead to costly medical bills.

Having the correct type of stability assistance equipment is key in helping to reduce the probability of an accidental fall.

There is always an affordable solution. We can save you up to 65% off the retail cost of all medical equipment on items such as: canes, crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, CPAP machines, nebulizers, braces and more.

Prescription Assistance Programs

Do you have a brand name medication that you simply cannot afford? If you are approved, typically you will get a free 3 month supply of your medication at no additional cost to you.

America has some of the highest drug prices in the world.

Millions of Americans suffer from conditions like high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and diabetes, all of which can be treated successfully with prescriptions. However, these prescriptions can be very expensive to most individuals.

Prescription Assistance Programs can offer some relief from those overpriced brand name prescriptions. If you are approved, you might be eligible to receive a free 3 month supply of your medication at no additional cost to you.
